Worship

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here.

At the center of our life together is worship. Each week we pray, praise God, confess our failings and receive forgiveness. We gather at the table of Jesus Christ to remember the acts of loving mercy through which we accept his grace and draw closer to God through Jesus Christ.

Weekly worship shapes us to be people of compassion and hope. We hold each other up when we need support and celebrate together even the smallest blessings of this precious life we have been given. We strive to share the good news of Jesus Christ with our friends, family, neighborhood, and the world.

Please feel free to come as you and be assured you will fit right in. Our worship can take some getting used to as it is not “entertainment” but an activity in which everyone participates: we sing, we stand, we pray, we move around the pews when we greet each other and go to the altar. Don’t worry about what you don’t know and don’t hesitate to ask questions! We have all been there!

You are also invited to join us for Compline on Tuesday evening at 8:30pm

Compline is an evening prayer service beginning on page 127 of The Book of Common Prayer.

It’s a short (between 10-15 minutes) but lovely service for the close of the day. You are encouraged to read the service and become familiar with it. Some of the most beautiful prayers in The Book of Common Prayer are found in Compline.

The service is conducted on Zoom each week.
